Key Stage 2 Football 2018

West Meadows staged our locality Key Stage 2 Football Tournament. Many thanks to Mr. Armstrong and Miss Grange, the field looked terrific as we hosted all of our local schools. A thrilling afternoon for the West Meadows’ Faithful ended in semi-final defeat to eventual winners Ward Green. However, a strong group stage showing featuring a draw with Hoyland Common, a win against Hoyland Springwood and a draw with Birdwell made Miss Grange extremely proud of her stars. Thank you to Daz Wilkie and the firefighters who helped with the tournament officiating by way of their work in the community. A great day, well done to all of the teams who played some terrific football.
