Year 2 Orienteering Stars

We worked together as a team to try our hand at orienteering. We had to find different check points around the school grounds using an aerial photograph of the school. Teamwork was key as we all had different roles to play in locating the different places on the photograph.  We used our knowledge of physical features that we recognised, to locate the cards.  We needed to collect six different cards showing places within Yorkshire to complete the event.

A brilliant opportunity, well done everybody and than you Caroline; it was a real honour to welcome you to West Meadows.
