We hosted Jump Primary and our friends from Hoyland Common in our latest fixtures in the Football League. Against Jump we secured an excellent 2-1 victory despite falling behind to a first minute rocket! Our captain led by example notching both with a terrific brace. On to the local derby versus Hoyland Common who had defeated Jump by 9-0. Our players were terrific as they displayed monumental defensive discipline in a very tight 0-2 defeat. Substantial misfortune saw shots cleared off the line and a huge penalty appeal turned down by Firefighter Wilkie. A great effort. Thanks to Miss Grange and Mr. Armstrong for their organisation of a great afternoon – even the wind couldn’t spoil the rich sporting entertainment.
