Our topic this term is Survival and we have been focussing on the devastation caused by natural disasters. We are currently learning all about what survival equipment is needed to help those that have been involved in a natural disaster. Today, The Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team visited West Meadows to teach us all about the survival equipment they use. We all explored the land rover, saved a few casualties and tried on some survival gear! It has been an amazing morning! Our next job is to design a new piece of survival equipment for them to use.
