Caretaker

Salary Details: £17681 to £18672 based on 37 hours per week (please note this will be pro-rata as the post is for 20 hours per week)

Contract type: Grade 3, 52 Weeks, permanent

The Governing Body at West Meadows Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to carry out the caretaking duties in our school following the retirement of the current post-holder.

Your main duties will include routine security procedures for the school buildings and grounds, carry out routine repairs and maintenance of equipment, deal with all tradesmen carrying out work within the school, carry out general portage duties as required and replenish consumable items as required throughout the school.

You must have or be willing to work towards IOSH qualifications and have a good understanding of the main Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment and how they apply in a school environment.
